Modern Garden Guide

Editorial policy

We aim to make garden ideas clear, accurate and useful to think with. Our articles distinguish explanation from opinion, avoid presenting one design choice as right for every garden, and make room for uncertainty where it matters.

Accuracy and clarity

We check names, terminology and factual statements before publication, and write within what the material supports. Where an article discusses a design choice, we explain its reasoning without implying that it suits every place or reader. Our coverage is editorial information, not a substitute for qualified help with specialist or safety-critical work.

Independence and partnerships

Editorial decisions are separate from commercial relationships. If material is sponsored or produced with a partner, it is labelled clearly so readers can distinguish it from independent editorial coverage. A partnership does not guarantee favourable treatment or a particular editorial conclusion.

Corrections and illustrations

If you spot a factual error or unclear passage, please use the Contact page and identify the article and detail. We review correction requests and amend material when warranted. Some illustrations may be AI-generated; they are intended to help explain an idea, not to document a real garden or planting result.
