We are interested in focused, evergreen ideas about garden layout, planting, materials, seasonal observation and garden history. Strong proposals make one central point, explain why it matters to a general reader and show what the article will help them notice or consider.

A useful proposal

Include a working title, the main question or idea, a short outline and any relevant sources or visual needs. Tell us if the subject depends on a particular place, growing conditions or specialist knowledge. We value specific, original writing that avoids sweeping claims and makes its terms understandable.
